Employee Opinion Surveys

Insightlink was founded in 2001 with the goal of bringing the rigor and discipline of professional marketing research to the field of employee surveys. Since then we've provided survey solutions to more than 300 organizations and hundreds of thousands of their employees.

The principals of Insightlink each bring more than 25 years of knowledge in their respective fields of expertise to the design and execution of all studies. This combination of knowledge and experience means that we are a company dedicated to excellence, quality, value and results. But most of all, making sure that you get the service you deserve.

Meet Our Project Team

Robert Gray, B.A., M.B.A., President

A 30 year veteran of the consumer and market research industry, Robert brings his extensive survey design and analysis experience to Insightlink. His consulting work has focused on such Fortune 500 companies as Ford, Chrysler, Unilever, Mars and Microsoft.

In all projects, Robert is committed to the values of quality, accuracy and actionable results and none of this is possible without, as he says, "the strong foundation of a well-designed survey."

A born researcher, Robert has never once passed a bookstore without going inside and owns way more books than any single person should.

George Gillies, VP Operations

George joined Insightlink at the very beginning in 2001 and is responsible for the design and programming of all our online systems and Web applications from employee surveys to exit surveys to 360 assessments and more.

His experience in technology comes from working for such organizations as IBM Canada, Kodak and Grey Worldwide Advertising where he was involved in the start-up and growth of Grey Interactive, one of Canada's first interactive agencies in 1994.

George began working in IT when an IBM data storage unit of 236GB was 8 ft high, 20ft long and cost $2,000,000. Times have changed.

Marilyn Mitchell, PhD., Senior Research Director

Marilyn is a cultural anthropologist with extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative research design, interviewing techniques, cultural analysis, survey development, sampling and forecasting. She has worked with a wide range of Fortune 500 companies and has also conducted research for government and non-profit organizations.

She earned her B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. in cultural anthropology as well as a B.S. in biology from the University of California at Irvine and has also studied at the National Museum of Ethnology in Osaka, Japan and the National Language Research Institute.

When she's not travelling to exotic destinations she can usually be found on horseback riding the trails near beautiful Dana Point, CA.

Andrew Bilton, Senior Information Services Director

Andy Bilton is Insightlink’s data integrity manager, with primary responsibility for programming and maintaining Insightlink’s online exit survey management systems.

A British native, he worked for several regional newspapers in the United Kingdom, where he specialized in both qualitative and quantitative readership research and customer segmentation. Andy has a degree in Marketing awarded from York & North Yorkshire University of Arts and Technology.

Andy is seldom apart from his iPhone, iPad and iMac. We're thinking of changing his name to iBilton.
